Kamakura is an authentic Japanese matcha tea brand bringing the quiet rituals of tea culture into modern everyday life. From single origin ceremonial matcha to handcrafted whisking tools, the brand is rooted in the beauty of slowing down and making something with intention.

The visual identity takes its cues from traditional Japanese artistry, but with a slightly unruly spirit. Sumi ink illustrations are reduced to a handful of loose, almost scribbled brushstrokes, accompanied by expressive calligraphy and a tiny red seal. Nothing too polished, nothing too precious.

And then, right in the middle of all that beautiful white space, a single drop of matcha.

Almost accidental. As though the tea itself had spilled onto the packaging, leaving behind a little trace of what’s to come once the ritual begins.
