ABOUT

Little Dove is a neighbourhood wine bar, bottle shop and little place to gather in Davenport, Iowa. Think good food, approachable wines, familiar faces and conversations that somehow turn one more glass into an entire evening.

The idea was to create an identity that felt just as welcoming and full of character as the place itself. A little nostalgic, a little playful and never too precious. Rather than building everything around one fixed logo, I wanted Little Dove to unfold into its own little world, full of charming imperfections and unexpected details.

The custom hand drawn lettering was inspired by the fluid movement of wine being poured into a glass. Flowing, wandering strokes sit alongside the bold, structured wordmark, creating a lovely contrast between something graphic and something wonderfully spontaneous.

A whole little world made for gathering, pouring another glass and staying a little longer than planned.
